Keratin worked when 6 months of biotin didn't

Took biotin for 6 months with zero hair improvement. My nutritionist suggested keratin instead since my hair is structurally weak, not just slow-growing. Reserveage uses Cynatine HNS — a patented solubilized keratin that's actually absorbable. By month 3, my hair felt dramatically stronger and snapped less during styling. The resveratrol antioxidant is a nice bonus.

Nails responded in just 4 weeks

Started this for hair but my nails responded first — within about 4 weeks they were noticeably harder and less bendy. Hair changes took closer to 3 months. I appreciate the built-in B-complex and copper so I don't need extra pills. Downside: $42/month is steep and the capsules contain gelatin — wish they offered vegan caps.

Skin breakouts at full dose

Had to take a reduced dosage because the full dose caused breakouts on my chin. At half dose, I noticed some hair improvement after about 6 months — less shedding and my hairline looked a bit fuller. But 6 months at reduced dose is a slow process. If you're not keratin-deficient, this probably won't do much. Get blood work first to know what you actually need.
