MSM made the difference when biotin alone didn't
Tried biotin alone for months with minimal improvement. A dermatologist suggested an MSM-based formula instead. Solgar's OptiMSM with zinc made a noticeable difference within 6 weeks — nails are harder, less splitting, growing faster. No biotin means no acne concerns. Vegan formula under $20. If biotin hasn't worked for you, MSM might be the missing piece.
brittle nailsActually seeing new hair growth — and it's volumous
This product is amazing for growing thicker, more volumous hair. My very fine, fragile hair has improved immensely after about 3 months. I can see new growth and my ponytail feels noticeably thicker. The advanced MSM formula does something different than plain biotin. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free. Solgar has been around since 1947 — I trust their quality standards.
hair lossTablets are huge and hard to swallow
The formula might be good but these tablets are enormous — I almost choked twice trying to swallow them. After 2 months I noticed no change in my hair shedding. My nails might be slightly stronger but nothing dramatic. If you have trouble with large pills, look elsewhere. Switched to gummies instead and found them much easier to stay consistent with.
